How to get to Mobile Life
By rail
There are two stations in Bristol - Temple Meads and Parkway. If
there is an option, you are recommended to go to Temple Meads which
is much closer and has bus services that go to the university.
From Bristol Temple Meads station
Temple Meads station is about 1.25 miles from the university. There
is a free Hospital
& University bus shuttle service which operates exclusively
for the use of staff, patients and visitors of UBHT and the University
of Bristol. The service runs frequently durning working hours between
Temple Meads station, the hospital and the university precinct.
There is also a taxi rank at the station. If you'd rather not get
a taxi we are very close to the main Number 1 bus route that goes
from Temple Meads station.
From Bristol Parkway station
Parkway station is about six miles from the university. You are
recommended to take a taxi.
By coach
The coach station is on Marlborough Street (near the top right corner
on map below the Mobile Life logo). To get to the University, either
walk up Malborough Street and Upper Maudlin Street to the precinct,
or catch the free Hospital
& University bus shuttle bus which stops at the coach station.
There is also a taxi-rank outside the station. For information about

By air
From London Heathrow
There is a direct National Express Coach Service between Heathrow
and Bristol. Alternatively you can take the Heathrow Airport Express
to London Paddington and a Great
Western train from Paddington to Bristol. There is also a Railair
link coach service which runs between Heathrow and Reading. Most
Paddington to Bristol trains stop at Reading.
From Bristol Airport
The airport is about eight miles to the south of Bristol centre.
There is a frequent bus service from the airport to Temple Meads
station, or take a taxi. For further information, contact the airport

By car
On-street parking is available in the immediate vicinity of Park
Row and Woodland Road on metered parking (maximum stay 2hrs - £2.60).
In addition there is a council car park on Park Row (access via
Lodge Street).
Directions from M32
Carry straight on from the end of the M32 until you come to a T-junction
where you should turn right (following signs to Bus Station and
Clifton). You soon come to a roundabout where you should take the
second exit (following signs to Bus Station, Royal Infirmary and
Clifton). Go straight on over several sets of traffic lights. Just
after the entrance to the multi-story car park on your left, turn
right into Woodland Road.
